Please dont use this together with "Units+" - it breaks the Scout behaviour, makes him able to attack with full strength.

Changes

  • Scout:
    • Can now attack
    • Has Trait "Military Scout"
    • Consumes now 1 Food/Year
    • Starts with "panic"
    • Can only be upgraded to Scout Warrior
    • Can still not train or earn XP

New Unit

  • Scout Warrior:
    • Can only be upgraded from Scouts
    • Has Trait "Military Scout"
    • Can be build in cities
    • Needs 40 Training to build
    • Consumes 2 Food/Year

New Trait

  • Military Scout
    • Hidden in Trees
    • Heals -1 HP (5HP -> 4HP)
    • -20% Melee Strength vs. Infantrie & Mounted
    • +10% Defense Strength vs. Infantrie & Mounted
    • -20% Attack Strength
    • -50% Critical Chance

There is a small issue. Once you upgrade or build any Military Scouts, you can not do automation on them.

Thats because its a military unit (now) and the game forbids auto. on military units. If you wouldnt define it as military, it could not attack.
