  • New yield Education added
  • You can spend education to look for a courtier, to educate a specialist, raise a few improvements or let a courtier teach your leader a new archetype (zealot & schemer are exluded!)
    • These are missions and you can find them when you click on your leaders portrait, or for the teach archetype mission use on of your courtiers
    • The educate specialists missions are available as soon as you are able to train a specialist in your cities
    • There are two tiers of educate specialists missions - tier 2 is more expansive than tier 1
    • You get education from Wisdom, Improvements, Projects, Shrines, Specialists and Wonders
    • Religious specialists cant be educated
  • New icons added
  • Edcuation yields get updated in the top bar and also in the city screen
  • Buy/sell is not allowed


  • German translation included
  • Not savegame compatible
  • Compatible with all my mods

I have disabled all other mods, and verified the game files, but still total education does not show, only education change rate. In the picture in the mod page, the author shows an image where there is a 0 before the change rate, but I can't get my game to show me that 0. Is the mod broken after a patch, or is there some pre-condition or such I have overlooked?

Thanks for mentioning.
I didnt test the recent change where i properly moved and implimented the icon properly, but it should be fixed now.

I'm using this mod now, but the top bar only shows the change rate, not the total pool of accumulated education. It might be a compatility issue, as I am trying some other mods. Do anyone know which mods are incompatible?

They gain education as you do but if they can do/handle the missions i dont know yet.
<SubjectCharacter>SUBJECT_LEADER_US</SubjectCharacter> is the mission's subject, im trying SUBJECT_PLAYER_US_OR_THEM and if this works, ai leaders should have those missions enabled, too. But if they are actually going to do these, i dont know..

Yeah, so the missions are still working. I also changed the MISSION_IMPROVEMENT from SUBJECT_CITY_US to SUBJECT_CITY_US_OR_THEM
I just hope that you are not able to raise improvements now with this mission in non-player cities, too. To test this you would need some 10ish turns to confirm, which im going to test later...

I can also create a new subject, SUBJECT_LEADER_US_OR_THEM
